The admission process is the first step toward earning your online degree at Northeastern State University.
Applicants to the NSU MSN in Nursing Education online program must hold a current, unencumbered RN license, along with a Bachelor of Science in Nursing degree from a nationally accredited nursing program with a minimum 2.5 GPA.
Admission Requirements:
- Current, unencumbered RN license
- Bachelor of Science in Nursing degree from a nationally accredited nursing program (ACEN, NEA, or CCNE) and regionally accredited college or university
- Cumulative 2.5 GPA in undergraduate coursework or 3.0 GPA in nursing coursework
MSN in Nursing Education Online Admission Requirements
- Completed application

- Official transcripts
- A cumulative GPA of 2.5 on all undergraduate coursework or a 3.0 GPA on nursing coursework

Students are required to upload their credentials into the CastleBranch website, which is a third party vendor. Items to submit include the following:

- Immunization Record which includes PPD, 2 MMR, Varicella, Hepatitis B, TDaP, and annual Influenza
- Both sides of current signed American Heart Association Healthcare Provider CPR card or eCard
